All there corn empanadas and pandebono waffles are gluten-free and delicious. I was looking for a place to eat lunch but also have something sweet, when I found empanadas y salsa on door dash. My mother has a very strong gluten intolerance, so I was very happy to learn that there menu was almost entirely gluten free. For a sweet treat we also had the bombom espresso Choco drink, which was smooth, chocolatey and refreshing. I got the frapaccino type not cold which was perfect for this warm weather. The service was also excellent. I was surprised to have my coffee filled back up with the extra left over from the blender.
Today marked my final visit, despite having spent a considerable amount on empanadas and smoothies. I realized that when I order through DoorDash, I get sauces included with my empanadas, but when I go into the store, I get charged for them. One of the owners tried to convince me that there was a language barrier and that I wasn't being overcharged, but I know when I'm being taken advantage of, and it frustrates me. I can't help but notice that other customers are getting the same items without extra charges. So, I've decided to head to my local Latino store to pick up ingredients and make my own cheese empanadas. It was a good run while it lasted!
This is the best little hole in the wall JEWEL out there for Colombian empanadas. They are made to order so expect a minimum 10 minute wait. And it’s worth it - fresh ingredients, deep flavors and intensely satisfying. Get a strong coffee or a fruit drink (Maracuya is my favorite) - don’t mess with soda LOL! All of the empanada flavors are delicious - pick according to your mood or craving. 100% WEPA APPROVED

I just do happen to stumble on this place after getting a haircut across the street and boy I am so glad I did. The pastries are amazing, highly recommend the guava. The empanadas were even better! They are made to order and they come out hot and crispy. My favorite was the chorizo and my girlfriend loved the cheese. They have amazing desserts as well. I highly recommend it.

The small, hole in the wall restaurants are always the best and Empanadas y Salsas are THE BEST EMPANADAS IN TOWN! I luv the beef with lemon and chicken with fresh Pico. The drinks are delicious and the service is the most pleasant, professional but friendly. I have been taking friends and buying lunch for them. You have to stop by!!
Love this place! And a haven for Gluten Free folks, as they have dedicated fryers for the empanadas. The salsas are incredible and they’re always so friendly. 5 stars all around!
